交通安全廣告欣賞編
英國的電影院和香港的電影院其中一個最大的分別是廣告時段的長短。
香港的電影院場數比較密﹐分秒必爭﹐基本上已經沒有廣告時段﹐一入場便會開始了﹐最多有個cityline的廣告﹐搭一兩個電影預告片。
英國的電影院不同﹐放映前有一大段廣告時間﹐15至20分鐘不等﹐如果是周末﹐播半小時廣告也有可能。
這些廣告當中﹐除了電影預告﹐最多的是汽車廣告﹐因為戲院通常在偏遠﹐需要駕車才能到的地方(倫敦除外)﹐所以觀眾有很多都是駕駛人士。
這些廣告當中也故然包括一兩個Road Safety的政府宣傳片﹐我個人認為是十分精彩的。
回到香港後﹐看到香港的道路安全廣告﹐發現有很多很有趣的地方﹐令我不禁要把兩地的Road Safety Ad比較一下。
其實主要的分別是﹐香港的宣傳片極之含蓄﹐而英國的宣傳片卻是十分震撼的。
在香港﹐家庭暴力宣傳片中你不會看到暴力﹐祗會有跌破杯﹐毛工仔慢動作跌落地等﹐關於賭博的宣傳片中你不會看到有人落波檻﹐你祗會看見有人污染海港。
香港的政府宣傳片要求大家要有很豐富的想象力﹐往往會用比喻的方式間接的表達訊息﹐例如踢足球插水等如欺騙綜援等。
新的道路安全廣告﹐更如藝術電影一般﹐片中大部份片段都祗是映著一個小朋友獨自踢足球﹐或者一位太太解釋為什麼要買一張梳化﹐基本上與駕駛無關。
以下是一個英國的﹐也是關於醉駕﹐內容也是與駕駛無關的﹐但卻有撞車的效果。
香港政府一向視平民百姓為白痴﹐拍宣傳片告訴長者們﹐原來馬路﹐是危險的﹕
原來老虎﹐是要去動物園看的﹕
派鬥牛勇士去告訴各位有駕駛執照的道路使用者﹐交通燈號﹐原來要遵守的﹕
英國的宣傳片不會直接的告訴你需要遵守交通規則﹐它所提供的資料﹐比較特別﹕
我不明白為什麼香港的宣傳片要這樣含蓄﹐是潮流興嗎﹖還是怕香港人接受不了太刺激的宣傳片﹖怕會被投訴﹖
我不知道那一種的宣傳片比較有效﹐可能司機們真的會乖乖聽克勤的話﹐可能英國人必需要看超真實的宣傳片才會聽話﹐但我在youtube搜尋舊的香港政府宣傳片﹐發現以前原來一點都不含蓄的。
二十年前的政府宣傳片可以撞車﹐流血﹐現在很難想象會有這種宣傳片了﹐所有東西都PG家長指引﹐總不能連政府宣傳片也要指引吧﹖
現在的電視﹐播的人怕投訴﹐看的人怕不安﹐連宣傳片都變成合家歡﹐是進步﹐還是退步﹖
看了萬千師奶賀臺慶﹐林弈華說無線把所有電視節目師奶化﹐其實現在連政府宣傳片都已經師奶化了﹐高清又如何﹖
是題材局限了嗎﹖
是香港人的心靈都變脆弱了嗎﹖香港的電視有這麼多年歷史了﹐我可以看些有進步的東西嗎﹖還是我要遷就全港師奶們看野蠻奶奶﹖
好像離題了﹐我祗是想說﹐一個宣傳片﹐其實也告訴了你很多可悲的事實吧﹖

um….. 我睇晒咁多條, 我仲發現左多一樣野…… 就係, 香港新宣傳片比起香港舊片同英國片, 係慳皮好多!!!! 因為唔駛用特技!!!! 肯定係而家政府D外判野, 乜都價低者得, 最慳皮果個咪拍果個囉!!!!!

有時畫公仔唔畫出腸先有餘味，不過對住而家普遍比較遲鈍既市民（我唔想指明係邊一個年齡層面……），功效成謎……

尤其是這個小總結：「一個宣傳片﹐其實也告訴了你很多可悲的事實」，只想更反高潮地畫出腸：「見微知著、每下愈況」，難為很多反智的人還口口聲聲甚麼「我不是做學術研究」，所以可以胡言亂語，誰不知已經被他們的一言一行出賣了自己的最真實想法……

but i dont agree that our ads are “worse” than those in the UK. think about this. in the past, governments all over the world liked to display punishment in public, such as decapitation. why not now? i think in part because we become more “civil” in the sense that we do not need these bloody shows to remind us of the consequence of criminal offenses.
kykykyky, I think I made it sound like I think our ads are worse but that was not what I meant. In fact, I love the ones where the kid is playing football and the wife talking about the sofa. I am merely pointing out that we can’t see anything interesting on TV anymore. I agree with you that we have become more ‘civil’ but in this case i doubt that the government don’t make scary ads just because we’re more civil. I do believe that it’s because they’re scared that even government ads would get complains.
On the other hand, I think the reason for the ads to be different is that the problem of speeding and drunk driving is simply less serious in HK compared to that in the UK and the US. (Ok I don’t really have stats to support that) I do believe the amount of bloods in these ads should be positively related to the proportion of people committing the crime. If we are ‘civil’ enough we don’t need any reminder at all. But if we do make these ads, I think they should be interesting enough to catch your attention and scary enough to scare you off.
Cigarette packs in Hong Kong now have these scary pictures like a rotted foot or an X-ray of a lung with cancer printed on the boxes, which I guess was copied from countries like Singapore. So does the government think that smokers are less civil than drivers or they’re more determined to drive out smokers than that of bad drivers?
i was just playing the devil’s advocate. to be frank, i myself do not believe that we are “civil.” haha….
